The safety of all Commencement participants and guests is at the forefront of our planning for a successful event. The severe weather plans for this event will allow students and their families to be at the center of this important experience.
In the event of severe weather:
Friday, May 17:
- Graduate and Adult Commencement Ceremony will be held at the regularly scheduled 6:00 p.m. time inside the McCann Arena
Saturday, May 18
- Three indoor ceremonies will be held at McCann Arena. Times for each academic school are noted below:

Notification Process
If a decision is made to move indoors, all graduates will be notified via their Marist email and the MaristAlert text messaging system, and information will be posted on the Marist website. For the Saturday, May 18, ceremony electronic tickets would be issued to graduates for guest admission using the same ticketing app used for athletic events.
